Who we are

The Irish Women's Network Wales is a women's community rooted in Irish heritage, connecting across generations through events, activities and great company.

We host our own events and gather at ones already happening across Wales. Poetry, literature, music, language, fashion, current affairs — our conversations are as varied as our members. We're a wonderfully mixed group, and that's exactly the point.

Our vision

A vibrant, inclusive network where Irish women in Wales of every age, generation, background and identity can meet, support one another, share culture, and create opportunities for connection, leadership, creativity and craic.

What we're working towards

  • Building a strong, inclusive Irish women's community in Wales

  • Supporting conversation and connection across generations and cultures

  • Strengthening the cultural and community ties between Wales and Ireland

  • Amplifying Irish women's voices and experiences

  • Building something that lasts — sustainable, long-term community structures, not a one-off event

Our members

We're women connected to all 32 counties of Ireland, living all across Wales — and growing all the time. If you have Irish heritage or an Irish connection and live in Wales, there's a place for you here, whatever that connection looks like.
